Man shot on Eastern Boulevard in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police say a man has been shot on Eastern Boulevard.

Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier confirmed to Action 8 News that officers and fire medics were called to the 3800 block of Eastern Boulevard just before 7:45PM last night. That location is near the Walmart Supercenter shopping center.

Dozier says officers found a man who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

He says no other information is available.
