Macon County Commission to host countywide cleanup effort
MACON COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – Officials are calling on residents of Macon County to come together to help the county a cleaner and more beautiful place to live.
The Macon County Commission is holding its Mission Macon, a countywide community cleanup initiative, on Saturday, August 15.
Cleanup efforts will take place throughout all areas of Macon County, with volunteers working to remove litter, beautify public spaces, and demonstrate our shared commitment to protecting the environment.
