Typical Summertime Heat And Humidity

It’s looking like a fairly quiet week of weather around here.  Rain chances will be rather low but those isolated showers and t-storms can’t be ruled out each afternoon.  Temps will hover around 90 through mid week but the heat does ramp up a bit late week.

In the meantime,  we expect a partly cloudy sky with temps falling into the lower to mid 70s overnight.  Wednesday begins with a partly cloudy sky and temps in the 70s.  The area of low pressure to our east will be moving farther away from us today. It may still help generate a few showers in eastern side of the state.  The rest of the area will be returning to typical summer conditions.  That means hot and humid with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or t-storm.

The latter half of the week is looking typical for early August.  We will maintain that chance for a shower or t-storm each afternoon.  Temps will begin reaching the lower to mid 90s for highs.   High pressure will move over the area and help keep weather conditions from changing very much from day to day.
