Low to mid-90° heat, some daytime showers/storms through Friday
Wednesday morning was fairly sunny across much of central and south Alabama, though spotty showers formed in a few locations around midday. Elsewhere, the sky was partly to mostly sunny during the early afternoon. Temperatures were already on either side of 90° at midday Wednesday in the dry spots, and may approach the mid-90s during the afternoon. Although, isolated showers/storms may cool some locations down through the early evening.
Wednesday night becomes mainly dry with a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky and lows in the low to mid 70s. Thursday and Friday’s weather remains generally unchanged, with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and isolated showers/storms. Rain chances may rise this weekend, with widely scattered showers/storms Saturday and Sunday. Rain coverage may remain widely scattered next week, while high temperatures remain in the low to mid 90s.
