Montgomery Public Schools to hold resource fair for students facing critical hardships
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery Public Schools will be holding a resource fair for students who are often forgotten.
The McKinney-Vento School Resource Fair will be held at 8AM Saturday at 720 Grove Street. That’s right off Interstate 85 at the Union Street exit.
This event is for students who may be living in shelters or are homeless.
Free uniforms will be handed out, along with bookbags, bus passes and other items. Families facing critical hardships need to complete a needs assessment.
Montgomery Public Schools wants to make sure these children have the same chance for success as others in the school system.
