Typical Summertime Conditions Ahead

It’s continues to look fairly quiet weatherwise around her the rest of this week.  Rain chances will be rather low but those isolated showers and t-storms can’t be ruled out each afternoon.  Temps will hover in the lower to mid 90 through late week.

In the meantime,  we expect a partly cloudy sky with temps falling into the lower to mid 70s overnight.  Thursday begins under a mostly clear sky and temps in the 70s.  The area of low pressure to our northeast will be moving farther away from us today. Most of our area will be returning to typical summertime conditions.  That means hot and humid with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or t-storm.

The latter half of the week and weekend is looking typical for early August.  We will maintain that chance for a shower or t-storm each afternoon.  Temps will begin reaching the mid 90s for highs.   High pressure will move over the area and help keep weather conditions from changing very much from day to day.
