Two-A-Days High School Football Previews: Eagles look to soar above the rest this season
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA)- The Montgomery Academy Eagles are looking to improve off an already successful 11-2 season just a year ago. During their 11-2 run, Montgomery Academy was able to advance to the quarterfinals of the 3A playoffs defeating Flomaton and Lee-Scott Academy before falling to Bayside Academy.
According to head coach Ethan McBride, this season the Eagles return several members of that 2025-26 team including; Reid McBride (Quarterback), Jarrett Friendly (athlete), and Braden Gordon (linebacker/ wide receiver.)
Montgomery Academy gets their 2026-27 season underway on Friday, August 21st at home against Tallassee.
