Man shot on Carmichael Road in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been injured in a shooting on Carmichael Road in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that the shooting happened just before 8:45PM last night. Officers were called to the 5600 block of Carmichael Road, which is near Eastern Boulevard, not far from Burger King.

McGriff said officers found a man who suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
