Man dead after Monday night shooting in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) -Montgomery police are investigating after a man died in a shooting Monday night.
Police tell Action 8 the shooting happened around 9:08 p.m. Monday, August 10th. Officers responded to the 800 block of West Canyon Court for a report of a person shot.
When officers got there, they found a man suffering from fatal injuries from a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Raymond Murry of Montgomery, died at the scene.

This is the 32nd Murder of 2026 in the capital city.
