Auburn woman arrested for attempted murder
AUBURN, Ala. (WAKA) – Auburn police have arrested a woman for attempted murder.
Officials say on July 19, officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 1500 block of Jemison Place.
Once they arrived, they found the victim leaving the home. Officers witnessed seeing 40-year-old Blair Marie Robertson following the victim outside and stabbing the victim following an altercation.
Officers immediately took action to gain control of the situation and safely detaining Robertson.
Both Robertson and the victim were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The victim was treated and released from the hospital in stable condition.
Following an investigation, warrants were obtained for Robertson. She was taken into custody on August 11.
Robertson is currently in the Lee County Jail on no bond charged with attempted murder and resisting arrest.
