WAKA Action 8 Sports Director Lindsey Bonner makes history

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – If you heard a familiar voice calling the Montgomery Biscuits game, it was WAKA Action 8 Sports Director Lindsey Bonner, who also made history.

The Biscuits say she is the first female public address announcer in Dabos Park history as she called Saturday’s game between the Biscuits and the Chattanooga Lookouts.

Lindsey, whose “Hey, yall!” greeting at the beginning of her nightly sportscasts and tireless work ethic have made her a fan favorite in our area, never shies away from helping a team or her community.

Unfortunately, the Biscuits fell to the Lookouts 5-4, but they are still second in the Southern League’s South Division at 59-54.
