Fire destroys popular Panama City Beach souvenir store
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WAKA) – A massive fire has destroyed a popular Panama City Beach souvenir store.
Panama City Beach Fire Rescue was called around 6:00 a.m. to the Jaws Souvenirs on Thomas Drive.
The structure was deemed a total loss with only the exterior walls still standing.
Deputies with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office asked drivers to avoid the area this morning as crews worked to fight the fire.
As of right now, no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
