Man killed in Coosa County crash
COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been killed in a single-car crash in Coosa County.
Alabama State Troopers say 68-year-old Rickey Montz of Plano, Texas, was killed when the car he was driving left a road and hit an embankment. Investigators say he was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The wreck happened at about 3AM today on Coosa County Road 42, near Coosa County Road 127, about five miles east of Rockford.
