Rain Chances Increasing Later This Week

We’re still on track to see our rain chances increase as the week progresses. Showers and t-storms will be more numerous and that should help us combat the heat a bit.  It will still be hot but not like what we have dealt with lately.

We expect a mostly clear sky this evening and overnight.   Temps will hover in the 80s but eventually falling into the lower to mid 70s overnight into early Wednesday.  The rest of the day will be hot with temps in the lower to mid 90s for highs.  Scattered showers and  t-storms will develop during the afternoon.

Looks like a frontal boundary will linger over our area throughout the week.  Additional showers and t-storms are likely each day.  A few more boundaries will move into the deep south later in the week.  This will help increase the chance for more rain activity Thursday and Friday. Temps will continue to manage the lower 90s for highs throughout the week.

The weekend outlook isn’t showing much change.  We could see fewer showers or t-storms around but the heat will be about the same.  Temps will top out in the lower 90s for highs both days.
