Action 8 Preseason Blitz: John Longshore analyzes Alabama schedule

ACTION 8 PRESEASON BLITZ (WAKA) – Action 8 Sports Analyst John Longshore is analyzing the Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2026 schedule.

A game that has caught his eye is Alabama’s fourth game of the season, when the Crimson Tide hosts South Carolina. While the Gamecocks haven’t been at the top of the SEC, Longshore notes that the last two times that Alabama has faced South Carolina, the games have turned into unexpected battles.

Elsewhere, Longshore says that Bama fans will expect to be 5-0 as they host Georgia on October 10. But after that, Alabama plays at Tennessee, hosts Texas A&M and then plays at LSU, which is the toughest stretch of the season.
