Another Round Of Dangerous Heat

We’re heading right back in the sauna again this week.  Hot and humid conditions will be harsh on us at times.  Heat indices will range between 105 to 109 through the remainder of the week.  Rain chances will be slim but isolated showers or t-storms can’t be ruled out each afternoon.

In the meantime, we expect a mostly clear sky with temps hovering in the 80s throughout the evening hours.  Overnight is looking clear with temps dropping into the lower to mid 70s for lows.

Wednesday should be a repeat of Tuesday with lots of sunshine and temps soaring into the mid to upper 90s for highs.  You factor in the humidity and you’ve got 105 to 109 feels like temps.   A heat advisory covers a large part of our area.  It’s a reminder that the heat can be dangerous and you should take precautions.

There’s little change expected in our weather as we cruise through the remainder of the work week.  Mainly sunny and hot should pretty much describe it.  Temps may try to reach the 100 degree mark at times.  Rain chances may try to creep up just a bit over the upcoming weekend.  A boundary will make its way into the region and it could help trigger a few more showers or t-storms Sunday into Monday of next week.
