ACTION 8 UPDATE: Arrest made in murder of two women in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have arrested a man in the shooting deaths of two women at the Gibbs Village public housing community.

Police say they’ve charged 20-year-old Tarus Giles with four counts of capital murder.

As Action 8 News has reported, on Monday, August 31, at around 8:46AM, police were called to the 1800 block of Gibbs Circle. That’s where they found the bodies of 25-year-old Undrea Willis and 19-year-old Nalyn Reeves.

They are the 36th and 37th homicide victims of the year in Montgomery.
