MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – One of the nation’s fastest growing extended stay hotels has broken ground on its first hotel in Alabama.

LivAway Suites is now under construction on Chantilly Parkway next to Burger King and the Comfort Inn & Suites.

Officials with the extended stay hotel say it will offer rooms with full kitchens and dedicated workspaces.

Some of the onsite amenities include a fitness center, smart guest laundry, self check-in and mail lockers.

The new East Montgomery location is part of a broader regional expansion that includes new locations in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

Officials have not released when the new location is expected to open.
