Prattville YMCA gets ready for the Great Grits Cook-Off
PRATTVILLE, Ala. (WAKA) – A River Region favorite will soon once again take place in Prattville.
The Guardian Credit Union Great Grits Cook-Off will take place on Saturday, October 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Willis Bradford Branch on McQueen Smith Road.
Teams from around the area will be competing to see who has the best grits.
General admission tickets start at $7 online and $10 at the door. Guests will have the opportunity sample various types of grits.
All proceeds from the Great Grits Cook-Off benefit the Prattville YMCA’s Coach a Child Scholarship Fund.
