Two hurt in shooting on Taylor Road in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Two juvenile males have been seriously hurt in a shooting on Taylor Road in Montgomery.

Police say the shooting happened at about 2:10 this afternoon in the 2700 block of Taylor Road. While police didn’t pinpoint the location further, police cars were seen outside the McDonald’s. This location is near the Vaughn Road intersection.

Police didn’t find any victims when they arrived, but a short time later they were told that the juveniles were at hospitals with possible life-threatening injuries.

Montgomery police Lt. J. Scott Dunn told Action 8 News that while detectives are still in the early stages determining the circumstances, preliminary evidence has led investigators to believe both victims were in an altercation that led to them shooting at each other.
