Hot & Mainly Dry Until Further Notice
There aren’t any signs summer is letting up anytime soon. Temps will continue to manage the lower to mid 90s for highs. An east to northeasterly wind flow has established itself and that will funnel in dry air to the area. Rain chances will be slim to none through most of the week but that will change over the upcoming weekend.
In the meantime, we expect a clear sky with temps dropping into the lower to mid 70s overnight. Abundant sunshine will be overhead for our Wednesday. Temps will respond and highs are likely to be in the lower to mid 90s.
The remainder of the workweek will be mainly sunny and dry. There will be an east to northeasterly wind flow and that should help maintain a dry airmass across the area through Friday. Temps will continue to reach the 90s for highs but overnight lows could fall into the upper 60s late week.
Our weekend is going to look a little different. Moisture will begin streaming back into the area and that will provide fuel for those afternoon showers or t-storms. Temps will continue to reach the lower 90s for highs.
