The Heat Cranks Up Again

The official start of fall is approaching but summer isn’t ready to depart anytime soon. Temps will continue to manage the lower to mid 90s for highs.  An east to northeasterly wind flow remains in place and that will continue funneling in dry air to the area. Rain chances will be slim to none through Friday but that will change over the upcoming weekend.

In the meantime, we expect a clear sky with temps dropping into the mid to upper 60s overnight.  Abundant sunshine will be overhead for our Thursday.  Temps will respond and highs are likely to be in the lower to mid 90s.  The heat will ramp up a bit and we’re back into the mid to upper 90s Friday.

Our weekend is going to look a little different.  Moisture will begin streaming back into the area and that will provide fuel for those afternoon showers or t-storms.  Temps will continue to reach the lower to mid 90s for highs.
