Millbrook man arrested on sodomy charges

MILLBROOK, Ala. (WAKA) – Millbrook police have arrested a man on sodomy charges.

Millbrook Police Chief PK Johnson tells Action 8 News that his officers arrested 27-year-old Quenten Arant at his home and charged him with three counts of 2nd degree sodomy.

Chief Johnson says the arrest stems from a complaint filed on September 12 after Arant had allegedly been engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile female.

Arant was taken into custody without incident and eventually transported to the Elmore County Jail on a $750,000 bond.

The incident remains under investigation.
