Troy man dies after multi-vehicle wreck in Pike County

PIKE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Troy man has died of injuries he suffered in a multi-vehicle wreck earlier this month in Pike County.

Alabama State Troopers say 57-year-old Ronald Bradley died Wednesday, September 23, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery following the crash, which happened on Tuesday, September 15.

State troopers say Bradley was riding in a small SUV driven by 72-year-old Sandra Bradley of Brundidge. Investigators say their car was hit by a car driven by 19-year-old Quandarrian Brooks of Louisville. After that impact, Brooks’ car was hit by a bus driven by 72-year-old Ronnie Adams of Troy.

Brooks was also injured and was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center. Investigators say he was not using a seat belt.

The wreck happened on U.S. Highway 231 about one mile outside of Troy.
