Action 8’s Tickled Pink postponed until October 17

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Action 8’s “Tickled Pink” event, which has become a cherished Montgomery tradition in the fight against breast cancer, has been postponed due to the chance for rain.

This year’s event was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 3, but will now be held on Saturday, October 17, instead. The times and location remain the same: 9AM-2PM at the Montgomery Biscuits’ DABOS Park.

For a dozen years, Action 8 has held this event. It benefits the Cancer Wellness Foundation. The non-profit helps cancer patients and their families in 32 counties, with everything from transportation to medication grants and even wigs.

This year’s Tickled Pink will feature more than 75 vendors, along with the reveal of our Survivor Makeover winner. There will also be food, music, entertainment, games and giveaways.

You can save money by ordering your tickets online. They are $8, compared to $10 at the gate. You can get a ticket and T-shirt online for $20. We know many of you enjoy collecting each year’s shirt because they feature new designs. Group discounts are available.
