Alabama State makes homecoming changes due to tropical weather threat

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Alabama State University is making changes to this weekend’s homecoming schedule due to the threat of tropical weather moving in from the Gulf.

All homecoming activities scheduled through Thursday will proceed as planned.

However, all classes and events scheduled for Friday are canceled. The University’s campus will close at 5 p.m. Storm-mode procedures will be followed.

The homecoming football game against Florida A&M University will be played Friday at 11AM.

All other homecoming activities originally scheduled for Friday through Sunday have been postponed to a later date. The University will provide additional information once new dates are determined.
