Auburn Man Faces Child Pornography Charges
An Auburn man has been arrested and charged with possessing child pornography.
Phillip D. Brantley, 22-years old, is charged with five felony counts of possession of child pornography.
Auburn police say they launched the investigation after obtaining information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Organization about child pornography being posted on the Internet.
Police say they found child pornography on electronic devices belonging to Brantley. Victims in five images recovered from Brantley’s devices have been identified. They aren’t from the Auburn area.
Police believe there may be additional charges.
It’s unclear if Brantley has an attorney.
