Delays for Driver License Renewals
Drivers will face delays in license renewals at the end of this week. The Alabama Department of Public Safety’s Driver’s License Division will perform a database conversion beginning at five o’clock Friday afternoon. During this update, examining offices across the state will not be able to issue, renew or reinstate driver licenses. Normal service is expected to resume at eight o’clock next Wednesday morning.Â
