State and local officials will honor police officers who have died in the line of duty this morning.
The 10:30 ceremony will be held at the Police Memorial statue on the South Lawn of The Alabama Capitol Building in Montgomery. That’s across the street from the Department of Archives and History.
Attorney General Luther Strange is among those attending.
