PHOTOS: Hurricane Isaias brings down trees, powerlines in Greenville

GREENVILLE, Ala. (WAKA) – Hurricane Isaias has brought down trees and powerlines in the Greenville area.

Greenville Police Chief Justin Lovvorn has posted many photos of roads which are blocked.

He has posted that while most major roads are passable, he is asking that residents stay off the roads as much as possible today so that crews can clear the debris and restore power.

Overnight, he reported that trees were down, blocking roadways on South Conecuh Street near Mobile Road, Lincoln Street, Fort Dale Road at Braggs Highway and Hickory Street near School Highland Road as well as others.
