Montgomery city, county, Pike Road leaders outline goals at Chamber event
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce has presented its “City & County Update” to give members the chance to hear from Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed, Montgomery County Commission Chairman Doug Singleton and Pike Road Mayor Gordon Stone.
The sold-out event at the RSA Activity Center brought the leaders together for a panel discussion about economic growth, public safety, infrastructure investments and the partnerships driving progress across the region.
Organizers of the event say having these three elected officials sitting on the panel talking to each other is key to communication and partnership.
The Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce represents 1,400 businesses and organizations with more than 90,000 employees throughout Central Alabama.
