Dallas County Commissioner’s Home Destroyed in Fire

Dallas County Commissioner Curtis Williams’s house was destroyed today after a morning fire.

Dallas County Volunteer Fire Department officials say the home, which is located on County Road 162 in Orrville, is a total loss. Williams says his daughter was home when the fire broke out, but she was able to get out safely. No injuries have been reported. Fire officials say the fire was possibly caused by an electrical problem. The State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
