Maurice Rollins was booked for driving under the influence early Saturday morning, just one day before he dropped out of the race for House District 76. This crash report obtained by Alabama News Network states that Rollins was involved in a single-car accident in Pike Road. He had a blood alcohol level of .110, above the legal limit of .08 and was arrested by state troopers.Â

Rollins had no comment and referred us to his attorney. Incumbent Thad McClammy and montgomery city councilman Tracy Larkin are still in the race.
