Convicted Murderer & Sister Face Dog Fighting Charges

AP_10042013327Montgomery siblings face felony dog fighting charges after evidence was found behind their house.

43-year old Bobby Terrell Fuller and 44-year old Latonya Jones were arrested Tuesday when investigators found their dog fighting operation.

Montgomery County Sheriffs Department and Montgomery Humane Society officers responded to reports that there was dog fighting going on at the property.

Police say that there was a trail behind their home, in the Flatwood Community, leading to a cleared wooded area where their dog fighting pit was located. Officers say the pit was carpeted, which gives the dogs more traction during fights. It is believed that this operation has been going on for years.

Ten malnutrition dogs were recovered with cuts, scratches, and bite marks all over their bodies

Fuller was convicted of murder in 1991 and first-degree rape in 1992. He was out on parole after being released from prison in 2004. Jones was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
