Lightning Strikes a Pike County Home and Sparks a Fire
Lightning strikes a house in Pike County and sparking another fire.
The fire started about one-o-clock this morning in the Ansley community in northwest Pike County. Volunteer crews from Pike and Crenshaw county battled the blaze for hours.The homeowner was able to get out of the home and is expected to be O-K. This was the third home in our coverage area that caught fire from a lightning strike.
