Voter Turnout High Across the Region
Lots of voters turned out at polling locations around the River Region Super Tuesday.
Poll volunteers say they were surprised at the number of people participating in the primary election.
There were long lines at some locations including Vaughn Park Church of Christ.
A lot of voters we spoke with were very happy with the overall process.
In Elmore County, turnout was also strong. Officials say about 33 percent of registered voters came out to the polls.
