Wetumpka Teen Charged in Prattville Murder

According to Police, a Wetumpka man is charged with murder  after he shot and killed a man in Prattville Thursday night.

James Rembert, 19, has been charged with murder.

According to investigators, the shooting happened around 8:55 p.m. on the 100 block of Jones Street in Prattville.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The name of the victim has yet to be released.

Rembert’s bond is set at $250,000.
