Elmore Co. Man Pleads Guilty to Multiple Charges

In Elmore County Circuit Court today, 21-year old Miles Pepping, of Deatsville, pled guilty to Manslaughter, Assault 3rd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstructing Governmental Operation.

Pepping was arrested in January 2015 for the single vehicle crash that occurred on October 9,2014. The crash occured on Ceasarville Road in Elmore County.

Austin Jones, 23, was a passenger in the vehicle and was killed as a result.

The District Attorney’s Office has recommended a sentence of 10 years. Circuit Court Judge Sibley Reynolds will sentence Pepping on April 13.
