Golden Tiger tennis ready to roar
TUSKEGEE, Ala. (goldentigersports.com) — For the first time in three weeks, the Tuskegee University men’s tennis team returns to action as they host Morehouse College at the PepsiCo Tennis Courts beginning at 11 am Friday morning.
Tuskegee (3-6, 3-4 SIAC) has not played since the SIAC Crossover at the end of February, where they won three of five matches during the week. They come into the match following a 5-2 victory over Fort Valley State in their last match of the Crossover.
Tuskegee and Morehouse have met once already this season, with the Maroon Tigers coming out on top of Tuskegee 9-0 in the season-opener back on February 7. Since then, the Golden Tigers have reeled off three victories in eight matches, including all three wins coming in conference play.
Following the match on Friday, the Golden Tigers hit the courts on the road to face Point University in Valley, Ala. on Sunday afternoon.
