Bond Reduction Denied For Several Home Invasion Suspects

Several suspects alleged to be inovled in a two home invasions in the Wallsboro community of Elmore County face a judge today.
Denzal Lewis, Ikevius Summerlin, Debuoys Bozeman, Maurise Wilkes and Brittany Richardson were all arrested in March. They are facing robbery and burglary charges in those two home invasions.
In one of the invasions, the home owner was tied up, and pistol-whipped.
Both homes had thousands of dollars in items stolen.
“Our homes should be our castles and that’s where we should feel the safest. And that’s why the law makes this type of crime a Class A felony this is a very serious offense, it is devastating to victims,” Said Elmore County District Attorney, Randall Houston.
The defense attorney asked for a bond reduction, but that request was denied.
