MPD Makes Arrest in 9th Homicide
Montgomery police have charged a man with murder following a death investigation this weekend.
24-year-old Quantarius Moss has been charged with the shooting death of 34-year-old Michael Thornton.
He is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $75,000 bond.
Moss turned himself into investigators after Thornton was discovered early Sunday morning in the 4100 block of Carmichael Road.
He was transported to Baptist South, where was pronounced dead.
This is Montgomery’s 9th homicide of 2014.
