Many doctors are still prescribing antibiotics to treat acute bronchitis despite evidence the drugs are ineffective. Â
For the past 15 years, the Centers for Disease Control has  worked to educate physicians about the overuse of antibiotics to treat bronchitis. Â
But some doctors say they feel pressure from patients to prescribe drugs when they come in for an office visit.
