Alexander City Man Shot in Home Invasion
An Alexander City man is in serious condition after he was shot in the head during a home invasion.
According to Alex City Police, it happened on the 400 block of S Street in Alexander City around 9:30 Thursday night. The homeowner says three armed, masked man entered his home and demanded money.
After a struggle, the homeowner’s nephew was shot in the head. He is now in serious condition at a Birmingham hospital.
Two out of the three suspects are in custody. All are juveniles.
