MCSD Search for Shooter in I-85 Road Rage Incident
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an unknown subject wanted for Shooting Into An Occupied Vehicle during a Road Rage Incident.
On Friday, May 6, at approximately 2:30 p.m. a black Kia Cadenza and an older model tan SUV pulling a black trailer, were engaged in a road rage incident. The road rage starting on I-85 south bound around the Shorter, Alabama exit. When the two vehicles reached the Pike Road exit, the driver in the tan SUV pulled out an unknown type firearm and discharged one round into the black Kia.
County Investigators believe numerous vehicles witnessed this event and can provide them with enough information to identify the driver of the tan SUV. No injuries were reported.
