Man Shot to Death in Birmingham
Birmingham police are investigating the shooting death of a man who was gunned down while apparently trying to stop an attempted burglary.
WBRC-TV reports that the shooting happened around 5 p.m. Sunday on Third Place Southwest.
Police say it appears the man attempted to stop a burglary suspect when shots were fired. Police say they have a person of interest in custody.
The man was taken to UAB Hospital, where he later died.
