Alabama is is named one of the most politically corrupt states. That’s what Fortune Magazine reports, anyway. The title was supposedly based on public officials who were convicted… and patterns in state spending. Well… Two politicians from our area are being investigated for government corruption. Representative Greg Wren pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor ethics charge and Representative Barry Moore was arrested on perjury charges.Â
