Wetumpka Man Faces Arson Charge

The state fire marshal’s office says a Wetumpka man faces an arson charge.
Alabama State Fire Marshal Ed Paulk says 37-year-old Charles Ray Mann has been charged with arson in the second degree for allegedly setting fire to a home at 54 Skating Rink Road on August 23.Â
The state fire marshal’s office says Mann was already under arrest for other charges and was served this warrant in the Elmore County Jail where he remains behind bars under a $10,000 bond for his latest charge.

Arson in the second degree carries a penalty of up to ten years in prison if the suspect is convicted.
