Birmingham Man’s Body Found on Lake Martin
A Birmingham man is dead after drowning in Lake Martin yesterday.
Marine police say Mark James Ajluni went for a swim yesterday afternoon and went under the water when he was on his way back to the dock. They say his body returned to the surface for a few minutes before sinking under once again. The body was recovered by a member of the Tallapoosa County rescue squad.
Marine police are still investigating the drowning.
