A Montgomery teenager has died after the car he was riding inside crashed during a high-speed chase.

Montgomery County Sheriff Derrick Cunningham says that deputies were pursuing the speeding vehicle Monday morning because it fit the description of a vehicle involved in a nearby burglary attempt.

Authorities say the car crashed into a minivan on U.S. Route 231 and drove into a ditch, killing 17-year-old Deonte Davidson and injuring the other three suspects in the vehicle. The three suspects were taken to the hospital.

One of the suspects, Tamichael Campbell, is charged with murder in connection with chase. He is being held on $60,000 bond.

A second suspect is out of the hospital, and is in juvenile detention.  No word on charges at the moment, and if he is being charged as an adult, according to Sheriff Cunningham.

The third suspect is still in the hospital and  have yet to be identified. The two people inside the minivan were not injured.
