Discount Movie Theater in Montgomery?
How would you like to pay less to go to a movie in Montgomery... And even see some classics on the big screen for only a few bucks? Well, it could be a reality.
Evans Theatres in Norman, Oklahoma is thinking about bringing a discount movie theater to Eastdale Mall.
They would offer 6 dollar movies and 3 dollar matinees.
There would also be classic movies like “The Breakfast Club,” “The Goonies” and “Back to the Future” for 3 dollars.
People we talked to say they would welcome it at Eastdale Mall.
“That’s a good idea because it needs to be built back up. I hate that a lot of things are leaving… We need to bring back wholesome good things for the kids, youth, for everybody,” said Sandra Reid.
The company is just trying to gauge interest at this point.
They will meet with mall officials on June first to go over more details.
However, the mall managers say they are very hopeful this will be coming.
